VISITATION DAYS 2010-2011 "High School & Community College Day" TBD "High School & Community College Day" gives high school and community college students and their parents/family the opportunity to preview what Jackson State has to offer i.e. academic departments, learn more about admissions, financial aid, housing, scholarships, public safety, campus tours, etc. Students will also enjoy performances by the Sonic Boom of the South, JSU Cheerleaders, Prancing J-Settes and JSU Greeks. Students and their parents are updated on academic expectations, degree programs, scholarships, financial aid, student life, housing and academic advisement as they make the transition to college life. These students are invited to this day based on Grade Point Average (3.0 or higher) and ACT/SAT test scores (25-ACT or 1130-SAT:Critical reading and math scores only) or distinguished as Valedictorian/Salutatorian or their high school class.
